FAQ

I’M NEW TO INDOOR CYCLING, HELP!

Every professional was once a beginner, and we are here to help you on your journey, no matter what your level of fitness or ultimate goals may be. The beauty of group classes is that you don’t have to be competitive. You determine the pace that’s best for you.  After a few classes, you’ll build stamina and confidence. As they say, it’s just like riding a bike!

Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your first class, even if you have taken cycling before.

REBEL 101

We encourage new riders to sign up for Rebel 101, which is FREE and will help you understand everything you need to know about bike setup, terminology and form. This class is generally offered on the first Saturday of the month at noon, but is subject to change. We are happy to schedule a time for a private introduction if the 101 class doesn’t fit into your schedule. Bring a friend and join the Rebellion together!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR AND BRING TO MY FIRST CLASS?

Comfortable, moisture-wicking tops and tight fitting cycling shorts or fitness pants are recommended to avoid fabric near the pedals. Remember to bring socks, but we have plenty at the front desk if you forget. Cycling shoes are required and available free of charge. If you have your own, our pedals accept both LOOK and SPD cleats. Towels are provided, but please bring a water bottle. We also have bottled water available for purchase.

For Studio B classes, we provide equipment and mats, but you are welcome to bring your own mat.

HOW IS YOUR CYCLING DIFFERENT?

Our Cycle Theater– Unique to the market and designed to enhance every aspect of your ride. Mesmerizing LED illumination is integrated into each well-planned class to create a motivating atmosphere.

Our Instructors– The most highly-trained instructors in the market, you’ll quickly appreciate the difference!

Our Bikes– Custom branded Stages SC3 bikes are among the best in the industry. The Stages power meter is widely known and respected for accuracy and is used by professionals around the world.

In-Class Metrics– Follow your progress and learn your training zones in Power and Remix Rides. Then receive your results in an email. Results will also be emailed after Rhythm Rides, but not displayed on the TV screens. You can also elect to remove yourself from the screens….just ask us

CYCLE SHOES

Cycle shoes are required for the best ride experience. They are offered complimentary, but if you have your own, our bikes accept both Look Delta and SPD cleats. Cycling shoes provide a level of safety, proper foot alignment, and increased performance. The stiff sole maximizes the transfer of energy, and hamstrings are engaged more fully because your foot is attached to the pedal. The stiff sole also helps reduce foot fatigue and cramping. You will appreciate the difference of “clipping in” once you try it!

DO YOU HAVE LOCKERS OR SHOWERS?

Rebels love luxury, so we offer private showers with spa-grade skin and hair products, fluffy Egyptian cotton towels, and a fully-stocked blow dry bar. Generous changing rooms and social spaces include keyless lockers with USB outlets so your techy gadgets can charge while you recharge! We even have plastic bags for sweaty workout clothes!

HOW DO I RESERVE A BIKE OR CLASS?

The booking window for all classes opens 7 days in advance. To reserve your bike, log into your account, select your class on the schedule and select your bike of choice. You will receive an email confirmation for the reservation. Note: Studio B classes require a reservation, but not for a specific spot.

IS THERE AN AGE OR HEIGHT REQUIREMENT?

For safety purposes, riders must be at least 14 years of age and 4’11” or taller to enjoy our classes. Riders under 18 must have a parent/guardian complete a waiver.

CAN I TAKE ANY OF YOUR CLASSES IF I’M PREGNANT?

Many expectant mothers take classes at all stages of pregnancy, but please consult with your physician to determine if it’s safe for you.

ARE CLASS CREDITS TRANSFERABLE?

Credits may not be transferred to another customer’s account, however you may use your credits to book a guest. Most of our monthly memberships also have guest credits they can use. All customers must have their own account in order to take a class and benefit from receiving ride results.

LATE ARRIVAL

Classes will begin on time and studio lighting will be dim. For your safety, and to respect the class environment, late arrival may result in your bike or Studio B spot being released to another customer. We release spots to waitlisted customers 2 minutes prior to class. We do not allow entry to classes later than 5 minutes after the class has started. If you are a first-time rider, you will not be allowed to join the class unless you arrive at least 10 minutes prior.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Customers may cancel a reserved class without penalty up to 12 hours before the class. A reservation not cancelled at least 12 hours prior will result in loss of the class credit. A “no-show” will also result in loss of the class credit. Unlimited members will be charged $10 for a late cancellation or no-show.

THE WAITLIST

If a class is waitlisted, sign up! Quite often there are cancellations and you will be notified by email as soon as a spot opens up. Better yet, show up for a waitlisted class and pray for a no-show or last minute opening, and that spot could be yours! Even better, if you show up hoping to get into a class with no luck, we’ll give you a free class credit for your efforts! You can’t lose!

Please note, a waitlisted customer may receive a spot in class up to 2 hours in advance. You must check your email for updates, or remove yourself from the waitlist if you know you won’t be able to come.

NO PHONE ZONE

In order to experience the best 50 minutes possible, we ask that you leave your cell phone in your locker, which is equipped with a charging station for your convenience.

EARLY DEPARTURE

The energy in the room during our classes is transformative and addictive! If you must leave class early, we ask that you select a spot close to the door in order to keep the distraction to a minimum.

WHAT IS YOUR RETAIL RETURN POLICY?

If you need to return or exchange an item, you can do so within 7 days. The item must be unworn and have tags attached. All sale items are final sale.
